Setup
Learn how to configure rush and set your chapter up for success
Rushes have lots of different features that can be utilized to improve chapter operations. Learn about the different features that can be used!
Creation
Fields
- Name (required): the name of the rush for organization purposes (such as Fall 2024).
- Comments: when enabled, members can post comments on rushees, such as what their interests are and fun facts about them.
- Voting: when enabled, officers can add fields for rushees that members can rate.
- Field name: The name of the field (such as involvement).
- Vote Type: Either a checkbox or slider vote. If checkbox is selected, then the results display the % of members who check the box. If a slider, the average value is displayed.
- Preview voting results: If enabled, all members can view the voting results before placing their own vote on the rushee. If unchecked, only chapter officers can view the results before placing their own vote.
- Activate rush: If enabled, this newly created rush will become the active (deactivating the current rush, if applicable).
Activation
Once a rush has been created, it must be activated from the Rush Settings page (by clicking and then Activate). Note that only one rush can be activated at a time, so activating one rush will deactivate any currently active rush.
