Activating / Registering Account
To register your account with your chapter, please obtain an invitation email, link, or code from a chapter officer, thank register your account below:

Updating Account
Members and chapter officers can update an account information by viewing the profile of the account and clicking . Chapter officers can also update an account's role (permissions), status, and email address from the Chapter Management page.
Troubleshooting
Receiving an error when attempting to register your account? Try finding the error below and following the instructions.
- What is my activation code: Each invited member has an activation code (listed on their invitation from the Member Management page and emailed to them if their email address was provided). If your chapter is using a joinable link, the activation code is automatically filled when they click on the link or scan the QR code.
- Activation code can't be blank: When registering your account, you must include an activation code. If you don't have one, ask a chapter officer for an activation code or link.
- The activation code doesn't exist: The activation code you provided is not valid. Please double check that you typed or pasted it in correctly, then confirm with a chapter officer that your code is still valid.
- The activation code is malformed: Your invitation may have been created incorrectly. Ask a chapter officer to re-invite you to join your chapter.
- The activation code is for a different email address: Please confirm the email address that your chapter officer invited you to use. If it is a different email address, please ask them to either change the invited email address or try registering with the invited email address.
- This chapter is full: Your chapter has reached its maximum size. Ask a chapter officer to remove unused member accounts or reach out to your chapter's Greek Connect representative for help increasing your chapter's member limit.
- The chapter doesn't exist: Check to make sure your chapter is still using Greek Connect. If so, ask a chapter officer to re-invite you to join your chapter.
- First/Last name can't be blank and must be valid: You must provide a first & last name for your Greek Connect account. Make sure that you don't leave either field blank and that you only provide up to 32 characters.
- Password must be 6-32 characters in length: Your password must be 6-32 characters in length. If you are following this rule and still receive an error, make sure you don't have any special characters (that are not present on a normal English keyboard).
- Email address already in use: You may already have an account for your chapter, or your email address may already be in use for another chapter. Try clicking "Forgot Password" and then look in your email inbox for instructions to reset your password. After that, you can login to Greek Connect with your email address and new password. If this doesn't work, try asking a chapter officer to let you use a different email address for your account.
- User already exists: You may already have an account with Greek Connect. Try clicking "Sign In With Google" if available on your device or try on a laptop. If neither of these help, ask a chapter officer to see if your account already exists.
- User does not have a name, please signup without external login instead: When signing in with Google (or any external login provider), we require that the account you use has a valid first and last name. If this is not the case for your account, you can either alter your external account or sign in directly with your email address.
Common Mistakes
- Attempting to register/login with wrong email address: Most students have several different email addresses that they use on a daily basis. As such, they may create their Greek Connect account with their school email and then later attempt to use a personal email address. If you are struggling to activate your account or login and are having troubles, check with a chapter officer to confirm which email address you should be using.
- Attempting to register account twice: Sometimes, members or officers may attempt to register an account that already exists. If you receive an error that says "An account with this email already exists" when attempting to activate/register your account, try clicking "Forgot Password" and then look in your email inbox for instructions to reset your password. After that, you can login to Greek Connect with your email address and new password.
Deleting Account
Members can delete their account from the Edit Profile page. Chapter officers can delete an account from the Chapter Management page.
