Adding Members

Once you have made your chapter, you can add members by one of three methods.

Joinable Link

A joinable link can be enabled/disabled from the Member Management page inside of Admin. If enabled, you can simply share a link or QR code with members so that they can join Greek Connect!

Manual Adding

Members can be manually added from the Member Management page inside of Admin. To do so, click inside of the invited members table. Then, add your member's first/last name, email (optional), role, and status.

Once you have finished adding the member's information, click to complete their invitation. Now, your member can go to the link below and finish their sign up using the Activation Code listed on their invitation (shown on the invited members table).

They also will be emailed an invitation if you provided their email address.

Bulk Upload

Bulk uploading your members is the fastest way to get your chapter started. Download a sample CSV file below, add your member data, and then upload by clicking from the invited members table.

Enabling Features

Chapter officers can enable or disable features from the Admin page. Some features (such as Calendar) cannot be disabled, and as such are not shown.

Permissions

All members have a role that handles their permissions. New chapters are given three default roles:

• Member: This role has the recommended permissions for a non chapter officer.
• Chair: This role has the recommended permission for a chapter officer.
• Admin: This role has full permissions and is recommended for executive board members.
